The LSPP was Founded in 1980
Founded in 1980, The Lebanese Syndicate of Press Photographers admits all photographers working in the field of photojournalism provided they are certified by recognized media outlets.
Its mission is to protect photojournalists and defend their rights.
Having in mind the duty of promoting photojournalism and its constant evolution, the syndicate endeavors to provide photojournalism classes to young photography aficionados seeking to join the rank of its members.
Toward that end, the Syndicate holds periodic seminars, contests and exhibitions to facilitate the achievement of that objective.
